Media Safety Ltd have been providing health and safety support to the Film, Media & Construction industries for 23 years.  MSL can provide ongoing Health & Safety support for your studio or business, for large scale projects such as feature films through to 1 day Location Tech Recces and for short commercials.

Whatever you need, we will be there for you as your key source of competent safety advice on your project, advising you on your legal Health and Safety duties and responsibilities.

The MSL team and associate H&S Advisors have extensive experience and knowledge to bring to your Production, with specialisms including Fire Regulations, Working at Height and Construction, Marine, Hostile and Hazardous Locations, Drones, Emergency Planning and First Aid.

What we do:

• Provide advice and support from concept stage through to completion / strike, ensuring compliance with UK law and Fire regulations.
• Starting with your production’s policy and arrangements, we will support you in developing a safety management system that will underpin and inform your production / project.  To ensure health and safety competency and awareness from the offset, MSL provide production Health & Safety training – empowering Management & Crew alike to protect themselves and others from harm whilst carrying out their duties on the project.  More information about our Production Safety courses: please click here.
• We can advise you about your chosen location safety and any special considerations to be aware of, such as building structure and any associated hazards re: fabrication, potential loading, welfare and any environmental hazards.  We advise you regarding crowd, young performers and those who require special arrangements. • We will liaise on your behalf with specialist contractors that may be required for your Production such as crane contractors, excavation specialists etc.

• During your project, we can monitor your Production from prep, filming and de-rig and report any findings and remedial actions eg: set rigging, fire compliance and provide assistance with your ongoing risk assessment process.
